He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in political science (1998) as well as the Carolina Business Institute Program (1998).
He began his career in real estate brokerage with CB Richard Ellis focusing on land brokerage. After joining Trammell Crow Company, he transitioned from brokerage into real estate development. In 2006, he left Trammell Crow Company to found Brookwood Capital Partners. He is married with two daughters and a son. He is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for waterfowl hunting in particular.

Joe is a Principal/Partner with Brookwood Capital with involvement in all facets of the company’s activities with a focus on land acquisition, development, and build-to-suit opportunities. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, Walsh College and New York University. After spending three years (1993-1996) working for his family’s electrical contracting business, he started his career in real estate. Joe has worked for Ashley Capital (Detroit and New York), Jones Lang LaSalle (New York), and Opus (Opus North-Detroit and Opus South-Atlanta). The majority of his real estate career has been focused on industrial, warehouse/distribution development and investment. In 2008 he partnered with Lindsay at Brookwood Capital Partners. He is married with one son and one daughter and lives in Cary, NC.

Erica holds the role of Controller at Brookwood Capital Partners. She received a BSBA in Finance from the University of Florida and a Master of Accounting from North Carolina State University. Erica is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of North Carolina.
Prior to Brookwood Capital Partners, she was a Controller at a publicly-traded medical device company and an auditor with a Big Four public accounting firm.
Erica was raised in Florida and is married with three children.
Rhonda is the Project Account with Brookwood Capital Partners. She received her MBA from Liberty University in 2021 and previously earned two Bachelor of Science degrees – Business Administration and Accounting. She has over 25 years of experience in business management and accounting in real estate investment and development, security system services, and retail management sectors.
Rhonda was born and raised in North Carolina. She began working in the family business at the age of 12, learning to manage a retail business and the importance of serving your community. She is married with one son. They enjoy traveling, camping, and hiking most especially exploring the NC mountains.
